Function Suite
Mayfield Pavilion, which adjoins the sports centre, is a multi-purpose lounge suitable for meetings, social events and functions. Catering can be provided, from finger buffets through to 3 course meals. The Pavilion, which has recently undergone a major refurbishment, will provide an attractive venue for a range of activities, over looking the playing-fields and the River Tay. The pavilion can comfortably accommodate up to 70 people.
Meeting Room
Located on the first floor of the Centre, the meeting room has IT facilities which allow computer based presentations. It is ideal for committee meetings or for groups of up to 14.
Viewing Gallery
The Viewing Gallery overlooks the Allardice Games Hall and extends the length of the north side of the hall. It can accommodate up to 100 spectators. It has been designed primarily as a “viewing” gallery to allow groups to watch demonstrations of activities.
Resource Centre
The Resource Centre is available for hire outside term-time. It is equipped with all current IT technology including an overhead projector. It is ideal for small seminars, since the room can comfortably seat 20 people at chairs with an integrated writing surface.
Changing Facilities
There are four changing rooms with shower and toilet facilities. The Centre also provides a specially equipped changing room for disabled visitors to the Centre.
Astroturf Area
Located at the centre, we have a large outdoor Astroturf area with changing facilities. The area is fully floodlit and is ideal for a range of sport and activities including football and hockey. During the summer months there is an opportunity to make use of the tennis court.
